This page is for Cockers that have shared our lives over the years but have now passed away.

Sam, Al, Domino, Gwyn & Calab were all American Cocker Spaniels - that's how it all started!

Tram, Ben & Jess were three very special cockers who shared our lives. While Paul was in the RAF they travelled all over with us. Ben passed away while we were all living in Germany, but Jess & Tram were two of the first dogs to travel back to the UK on a pet passport.

Tram was the most gentle boy I have ever known, a skilled footballer, who lived his life to the max. He came from Judith Tilney of the Angmor Kennel. He went everywhere with me, a real family dog. He spent hours playing football with my niece Charlotte when she was young. He was my best friend, over the years Paul was in the RAF always there when Paul was away with his happy face and ever wagging tail. He passed away in 2006 at 12 years old a little too early, leaving a huge hole in our lives.

Jess was the complete opposite of Tram. A true snob, who could look down her nose at everyone. She never played with toys, that was far beneath her! That said she was a lovely dog who kept all the youngsters in line with her very orderly and precise way. She was always faithful to Paul and would ignore me most of the time! She lost her hearing when she was about 10, but as she had been a excellent gundog who worked until she was eight we soon adapted the hand signals she knew from the field into the home. All the youngsters picked up on these and it is something we still continue to do to this day without realising. She passed away at the grand old age of 16 in 2008

Ben came to live with us as a rescue dog that never left. He was a real gent and although he was 6 when he came to us, he settled in as if he had always been with us. Ben was only 11 when he passed away, but enjoyed everyday, he was my second shadow behind Tram. He would collect the post, and bring anything that was laying around he was the tidiest cocker I've ever known!
